Hey,
I was thinking about the old days lately when we would drive around Fort Worth with the windows down, those long afternoons after school at Southwest, laughing at nothing in particular, sneaking off to get Panchos or just sitting in the parking lot talking about everything and nothing.
We grew up together in that big Texas sun, Southwest HS Rebels in the background, Friday nights, summer heat, all of it. Those were good years. Simple, real, ours.
I don’t come back to this spot very often, but when I do, I still smile remembering how easy it felt to be around you. You made a lot of those ordinary days feel like they mattered. I hope life has been kind to you and that you’re happy, that you still laugh the same way, that the world’s been good back.
Just wanted to leave this little quiet place here in case you ever looked it up. A small nod to the good times we had.
Take care of yourself.
